Mohammad Asif has got drugs again
Well as many of you might have guessed, after the news of a drug pacer from the subcontinent testing positive for banned substances aka drugs came out not surprisingly its our very own Mohammad Asif. As you remember he spent almost a month in Dubai recently after being caught with opium in his wallet. They let him go however after some diplomacy from Pakistan. But this offence makes it a third strike. And since its been caught on ICC property it should theoretically lead to a life ban and end his career before it even started. Like Shoaib Akhtar, his drug buddy, Asif’s career has been marred with controversies and drugs. It is not clear yet whether it was the same opium that he had been carrying in his wallet because he denied ever using that. He said he got it from some hakeem. And now he’s ’shocked and surprised’. Well, guess what! no body else is shocked. I can’t comprehend that he was actually dumb enough to believe that he could get away with it even after giving a dope test. Really weird. I would love to know what was going through his mind. Anyway, his career should be over unless he can get some big sifarish. Even Gillani sahib can’t get him off this time it seems. Guess he has to sell that Mercedes now.
